At Millpond Gatherings, we are an all encompassing hospitality center where you can eat, celebrate, shop, and stay with us here in the quaint town of Northford, Connecticut.
Our mission for Millpond Gatherings is to create a destination location that guests near and far yearn to visit. We will serve our customers the freshest local foods, celebrate the joining of families and friends, and offer a place to stay and explore our historic property and surrounding farmland.
Our facility consists of five properties, the Steakhouse, the Tavern, and the Venue, with the Market and Inn to come.

Meet Executive Chef, Pedro Avila
Pedro Avila began his culinary career in Chicago and quickly moved up the ladder. He has held various kitchen positions, including sous chef at Smith & Wollensky Steakhouse, Executive Chef for David Burke Prime at Foxwoods Resort Casino, and now Executive Chef of Millpond Gatherings. Avila’s cuisine respects steakhouse tradition while ushering it into the future.
Avila’s love for the food arts was sparked by his mother’s culinary talents at home. Her love for and devotion to her family inspired his leadership style and his successful strong kitchen culture.
